From Paris to the Jungle is a cross-cultural musical journey created by Violvetine, a Franco-Irish/Peruvian duo. The performance blends the vibrant rhythms of Peruvian chicha with the lyrical poetry of French chanson, offering young audiences and families an accessible introduction to diverse musical traditions.
Our mission is to create cross-cultural musical experiences, encouraging curiosity about foreign languages and cultures through music.

Quentin Cooper — Spanish guitar, vocals

Experience:
Performed at the Tradoodle Festival 2025, engaging school groups in libraries across County Monaghan.
Performed “Tiny French and Jungle Tunes” in Glór (Ennis) on the 28th September 2024 (0-24 months old)
Performing together since 2016, developing a strong artistic partnership and unique sound.

Target Audience: Children aged 3–9 and families, but also adaptable to wider audiences.
Interactive Elements: Audiences are invited to sing along, clap rhythms, and dance, making the performance participatory and memorable.
Educational Value: Introduces children to foreign languages and cultural diversity through music and storytelling.
Visual Component: Projections of colorful illustrations accompany the performance, enriching the narrative and sparking imagination.

Violvetine presents “From Paris to the Jungle” — a musical journey blending upbeat Peruvian chicha rhythms with gentle French songs. Quentin on Spanish guitar and Séverine on viola sing and play together, inviting children and families on a joyful adventure through rhythm and melody.
